Spanish 1 Teacher
The value and importance of Education was instilled in my siblings and I at a very young age. As a child, growing up within a family of educators, education was always a pivotal part of our lives. Throughout my college years, I started tutoring and mentoring incoming freshmen and sophomores in subjects such as Essay Writing, Psychology, Study Skills, and Spanish in addition to assisting students with adjusting to college life. This is where my passion for education and helping others reach their potential began.
After graduating, I continued providing in-home tutoring sessions with grade school and Middle School aged students part-time focusing on Reading, Writing, Study Skills and Language Arts. I also have experience teaching Language Arts at the Middle School level as well along with teaching Spanish to students from Pre-School to High School. I continue to enjoy seeing the look on a student’s face every time they reach a moment of understanding. It is the best part!
As an educator, I enjoy incorporating fun and excitement to the learning process! I believe that each student has individual needs within their educational process that may be difficult to fulfill in a class of 25+ students. That is why I decided to share my teaching/tutoring services with the homeschool community where education is still represented as the way in which it was intended. Working with students one-on-one or in small groups is needed to ensure that each student, whether enrolled in the school system or being home schooled, gets the individualized time and help needed to reach their best potential.
